Abstract

The study of sacred texts holds a central place in the religious traditions of Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism. This paper delves into the multifaceted nature of these sacred scriptures and their interpretations within the respective faith communities. Through an interdisciplinary approach, it explores the historical, cultural, and theological contexts that shape the understanding and application of these texts. Drawing upon textual analysis and comparative religious studies, the paper examines key themes, narratives, and doctrinal perspectives found within the Bible, the Quran, and the Vedas. Furthermore, it investigates the diverse methods of interpretation employed by scholars, clergy, and adherents across different denominations and sects within each tradition. By illuminating the dynamic relationship between sacred texts and their interpretations, this study seeks to deepen our appreciation of the rich tapestry of religious thought and practice within Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism, while also fostering interfaith dialogue and understanding in an increasingly interconnected world.
