Abstract

Ethics and morality constitute fundamental aspects of human society, shaping individual behavior, societal norms, and legal frameworks. This study endeavors to conduct a comparative analysis across various religious belief systems to explore the similarities, differences, and underlying principles governing ethical and moral codes. By examining religious doctrines, scriptures, and teachings from diverse faith traditions such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and others, this research aims to elucidate common ethical themes as well as distinct moral perspectives.Through a comprehensive review of literature, philosophical discussions, and empirical studies, this study seeks to address key questions regarding the origins, foundations, and applications of ethical principles within different religious contexts. Additionally, it endeavors to investigate how these ethical frameworks influence individual conduct, interpersonal relationships, societal structures, and global perspectives on justice, compassion, and human rights.
