Abstract

"Sufism: Mystical Dimensions of Islam" explores the profound spiritual tradition within Islam known as Sufism. This paper delves into the origins, practices, and philosophical underpinnings of Sufism, highlighting its mystical approach to understanding and experiencing the divine. Through an examination of key Sufi concepts such as love, devotion, and the quest for spiritual union with the divine, this study illuminates the rich tapestry of Sufi thought and practice. Drawing on both historical and contemporary perspectives, it discusses the diverse expressions of Sufism across different regions and cultures, emphasizing its universal message of love, compassion, and inner transformation. Furthermore, this paper examines the role of Sufism in shaping Islamic spirituality and its relevance in the modern world. By exploring the mystical dimensions of Islam, this study aims to provide a deeper understanding of Sufism's enduring significance as a path to spiritual awakening and inner peace.
