An Analytical Study on the Impact of Poverty on Mental Health in Arab Societies
Keywords:

This article provides an analytical study of the impact of poverty on mental health in Arab societies, focusing on the multifaceted challenges faced by individuals living in poverty. Poverty is often associated with stress, anxiety, and depression, which have profound consequences on individuals' overall mental well-being. In Arab societies, where economic disparities and unemployment rates are high, the mental health of the underprivileged populations is disproportionately affected. This paper explores the social, psychological, and economic dimensions of poverty and its direct correlation with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and social isolation. The study also discusses existing interventions and public health strategies aimed at alleviating the mental health impact of poverty in these societies. Recommendations for future policy development and community-based initiatives are also provided.
