Abstract

In the contemporary world, technological innovation is rapidly transforming
healthcare systems globally. However, despite these advancements, issues related to
equity, access, and ethical considerations continue to pose significant challenges,
especially for vulnerable populations. The concept of social justice in Islam provides a
profound ethical framework that emphasizes fairness, equality, and the equitable
distribution of resources, which can have a transformative impact on healthcare
innovation. This article explores how Islamic social justice principles can guide
technological advancements in healthcare, ensuring that innovations benefit all
segments of society, particularly marginalized communities. By examining the
relationship between Islamic teachings on justice and the application of healthcare
technologies, the paper proposes a framework that integrates these principles into the
design, development, and implementation of healthcare solutions. The article also
examines real-world examples and case studies where Islamic social justice has
contributed to healthcare equity, providing a blueprint for the future of inclusive
healthcare systems. Ultimately, this paper aims to highlight the potential of Islamic
values in addressing the growing inequities in global healthcare and fostering an
inclusive approach to technological innovation.
