The status of women and their rights has been a subject of scholarly debate across cultures and religions. This study provides a comparative analysis of women’s rights within Islamic teachings and their implementation in contemporary societies. Drawing upon primary sources such as the Qur’an and Habit, as well as secondary sources including contemporary legal frameworks and scholarly interpretations, the research investigates the principles governing gender equality, social justice, and female empowerment in Islam. The study further examines the misconceptions surrounding Islamic women’s rights and highlights the areas where practice diverges from theological injunctions. By analyzing case studies from different Muslim-majority countries, this research identifies challenges, successes, and strategies for promoting the rights of women within an Islamic framework. The findings underscore the importance of education, legal reforms, and societal awareness in ensuring that women’s rights are not only recognized theoretically but also implemented practically. The study contributes to the discourse on gender justice, highlighting Islam’s potential to promote equality, dignity, and social harmony for women.
