Abstract

This research paper explores the multifaceted role of women in the light of Islamic teachings, focusing on the Quran, the Habit, and scholarly interpretations across centuries. It emphasizes that Islam liberated women from pre-Islamic oppression and recognized them as equal human beings with independent rights. Women were granted the right to education, inheritance, property, and active participation in social, political, and spiritual domains. The study adopts an analytical and comparative approach, examining the application of Islamic teachings in both historical and contemporary contexts. It highlights that while Islam ensures justice and dignity for women, cultural traditions and misinterpretations have often restricted their true potential. The findings demonstrate that empowering women within the framework of Islamic values not only contributes to family harmony but also promotes social development, knowledge dissemination, and economic stability. The study concludes that Islamic guidelines remain timeless and relevant for resolving women’s issues in the modern age.
