Abstract

Sufi Poetry and Its Spiritual Significance: An Exploration delves into the
profound realm of Sufi poetry, unraveling its spiritual essence and significance. Sufi
poetry, a rich literary tradition within Islamic mysticism, serves as a conduit for
expressing the ineffable experiences of spiritual seekers and mystics. This exploration
encompasses an analysis of prominent Sufi poets such as Rumi, Hafiz, and Ibn Arabia,
examining their poetic expressions of divine love, longing, and union with the Beloved.
The study investigates the metaphors, symbols, and allegories employed by Sufi poets to
convey spiritual truths and insights, elucidating the transformative power of poetry as a
means of inner awakening and enlightenment. Furthermore, it explores the enduring
relevance of Sufi poetry in contemporary times, highlighting its role in fostering
interfaith dialogue, promoting tolerance, and inspiring seekers on the path of spiritual
realization. Through a multidimensional inquiry, this exploration seeks to deepen our
understanding of Sufi poetry's enduring legacy and its profound impact on the spiritual
journey of humanity.
